Established in 1941, WHCL is a non-profit, student-run, free-form radio station. Located atop College Hill in the stunning village of Clinton, New York, our station boasts 270 watts of power and runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, blasting through the Mohawk Valley and its barely legal 40-mile radius.

Originally broadcasting from the basement of Root Hall, WHCL has found its home in South Residence Hall, Bristol Campus Center, and finally, its state of the art studios in Sadove Student Center. We provide over 100 students and professors on the Hill with the unique opportunity of expression, making WHCL the largest student organization on campus. Listen to us locally at 88.7 FM or globally from our live stream during broadcasting seasons.
